COVID-19 Operating Policies and Procedures

• Pantry ​​

  • The pantry is open for indoor shopping. Community members can still pick up pre-packed boxes of groceries if they do not feel comfortable indoors.

  • We ask that if a patron is exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms, please either send a family member, friend, neighbor, or shopper to pick up your groceries.

  • Masks are required onsite at MHC by all individuals over the age of 3 when indoors or waiting in line on the porch.

  • We ask that only one adult from each household come into the pantry at a time.​​

• Ongoing Staff & Volunteer Precautions

  • All community members, staff, and volunteers are required to wear a face mask while indoors.

  • Throughout the day, staff continually sanitize high use surfaces and we have air filtration units set up indoors.

  • Staff members are expected to observe all CDC guidelines outside of the workplace and disclose any potential exposure.

  • All staff and volunteers are required to be vaccinated and boosted.

• Exposure Policy​

  • If any staff member exhibits symptoms, they are required to stay home until testing negative. 

  • Should any staff member test positive for COVID-19, they are required to remain home for two weeks and obtain two negative tests before returning to work.
